§ Mr. Gowerasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will give the total value of schemes added to the preparation pool and of those transferred to the firm road programme in the year ended 31st March last, and the total value of schemes at that date, in respect of trunk roads including motorways, principal urban roads and principal inter-urban roads, respectively.
§ Mr. George Thomas:£24.8 millions of schemes were added to the preparation pool and £2.5 million to the firm road programme, excluding schemes under £100,000. The total value of all schemes over £100,000 in progress, programmed or in the preparation pool is £37,87 million for motorways, £98.75 million for trunk roads, £12.38 million for urban principal roads and £1.11 million for inter-urban principal roads.
