asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many casualties occurred in farm accidents in 1969; and how this compares with 1968.

Twenty-one persons died in Scotland as a result of farm accidents in 1969; the figure for 1968 was 22. The number injured was 1,547 in 1969 and 1,558 in 1968.
