§ Miss Devlinasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity whether she will consider abandoning the present system of inducements to industry and give priority to the substitution of 200W direct State investment on a planned basis.
§ Mr. BennI have been asked to reply.
The present system of inducements to industry already represents a planned State investment from which the Government expects to see returns through the increased strength of the economy, and the employment thus created.
