HC Deb 21 October 1969 vol 788 c199W
Mr. Gwynfor Evans

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity how many men in Wales were in full-time employment in April, 1964, and September, 1969, respectively.

Mr. Dell

At March, 1969, the latest date for which information is available, it is provisionally estimated that there were 609,000 male employees in employment in Wales. The statistics do not distinguish separately those in full-time and part-time employment. Comparable information is not available for April, 1964. At June, 1964, and June, 1968, the numbers were 673,000 and 629,000 respectively.
