I regret that Lanarkshire County Council, who were one of five local authorities in Scotland specially selected to participate in tile initial phase of the urban programme, have decided not to proceed with their proposals in the current financial year. These proposals were for a new nursery school at Cambuslang and the provision of nursery places at Hozier Secondary School at Viewpark near Bellshill.
