§ 103 and 104. Mr. Macdonaldasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government (1) by what date he expects to reach a decision on the recommendations in the report of the working party on housing revenue accounts;
(2) whether he will publish a summary of the comments sent to him by local authority associations on the report of the working party on housing revenue accounts.
§ Mr. GreenwoodThe local authority associations have made it clear that they reserve their position on the recommendations of the report, and I do not think it appropriate to publish their preliminary comments on it. I am considering the report as part of the longer-term review of housing finance, but I cannot yet say when I expect to be able to reach firm conclusions on the complex issues involved.
