asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what adjustments will be necessary in the pension rights of local government employees as a result of the partial contracting out proposals of Command Paper No. 4195.

This is a matter for local authorities collectively to consider in consultation with staff representatives in their examination of how the local government superannuation scheme should be aligned with the new State scheme.
