asked Her Majesty's Government:

When a start is to be expected on a flyover bridging the Warwick Road on the main travel route from Heathrow to the western end of Cromwell Road

I understand that the Greater London Council, as the responsible highway authority, do not consider such a flyover justified. The Council's proposed West Cross Route, bridging West Cromwell Road and due for construction in the early 'seventies, should help to remove congestion at this point. Traffic flow on the West Cromwell Road will meanwhile be assisted by traffic management methods and a proposed widening scheme between Earl's Court Road and Warwick Road.
