Sir R. Russell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will give the names of the 19 Member States of the United Nations who voted in favour of a resolution on 10th June expressing concern at the failure of sanctions against Rhodesia.

The names of the Member States who voted in favour of the resolution in the Committee of 24 are as follows:

Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Mali, Poland, Sierra Leone, Syria, Tunisia, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, United Republic of Tanzania, Venezuela, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Bulgaria, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Honduras, India.
