asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what was the total value of rate rebate granted in Blaydon urban district, Ryton urban district and Whickham urban district, respectively, during the past year; how many claimants benefited; what was the rebate worth on average to each claimant; and what was the total value of rate relief to all ratepayers granted by Her Majesty's Government over the same period.
