asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will make an order under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act, 1960, adding the boards of new towns to the schedule of bodies to which this Act applies.

No. I do not think this would be appropriate in view of the confidential nature of many of the financial, commercial and property matters with which Development Corporations have to deal.
