The Scottish National Federation of Building Trades Employers have told me that some of their Members in the central belt cannot obtain all the supplies they need from their normal suppliers. While I could wish that supply and demand in Scotland were in better balance, I believe that the present shortage will not be prolonged and that any deficit can be made good from Northern England.
