HC Deb 25 July 1969 vol 787 cc562-3W
Mr. Eadie

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what effects he expects the implementation of his proposals for administrative reorganisation of the National Health Service will have on the work of doctors employed in the service.

Mr. Ross

Any reorganisation of the structure of the National Health Service or the lines set out in the Scottish Green Paper would make possible greater integration of the work done by doctors inside and outside hospitals, I intend shortly to invite representatives of the medical profession in Scotland to join with officials of my Department in a study of the issues involved.
