asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will now list those countries on whose meat exports to Great Britain no restrictions will be placed on the grounds that they are free from foot-and-mouth disease.

The countries with a long history of freedom from foot-and-mouth disease and from which imports of uncooked meat are permitted unconditionally under our animal health safeguards are:

Australia. Isle of Man.
Canada. New Zealand.
Channel Islands. Northern Ireland.
Falkland Islands. Norway.
Finland. Republic of Ireland.
Iceland.
