§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the Minister for the Civil Service whether, in accordance with the recommendations of the Duncan Report, he will now advise staff of the home Departments that refusal to accept a particular Diplomatic Service offer of secondment abroad without exceptional reason may damage their career prospects.
