Mr. Gregory

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now seek to amend the current provisions under the Police Act, 1964, covering the investigation of complaints against police officers to include an independent element representing the public in conducting inquiries and the publication of such findings; and if he will make a statement.
