The stamps will illustrate vernacular styles used for domestic buildings in Britain:
Block of four different 5d. stamps.

- (i) 650th Anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath, 5d.
- (ii) 150th Anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, 9d.
- (iii) 75th Anniversary of the International Co-operative Alliance, 1s.
- (iv) 350th Anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower, 1s. 6d.
- 150th Anniversary of the Royal Astronomical Society, 1s. 9d.
Literary Anniversaries—Wednesday, 3rd June:
- Centenary of the death of Charles Dickens. Block of four different 5d. stamps.
