HC Deb 24 July 1969 vol 787 c431W
67. Mr. Gregory

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what consideration he has given to representations made to him concerning the availability of educational facilities in areas where selective systems are applicable, within catchment areas extending beyond local education authority boundaries for children showing susceptibility to travel sickness; and what advice he has issued to such authorities in dealing with such cases.

Miss Bacon

I can recall only one representation on this matter, and my right hon. Friend has written to my hon. Friend about the particular case. General advice to authorities does not appear to be necessary.
