Mr. Pavittasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what assistance was given by his Department to the London Borough of Brent in the purchase of housing la id at Crawford Avenue, Harrow Road, and Stanley Avenue, Wembley; and to what extent the proposal to sell at an estimated loss of £28,000 is contingent upon approval by him.
§ Mr. MacCollLoan sanction was made available for the purchase of these sites but no Exchequer subsidy has been paid. The council would need my right hon. Friend's consent if it wished to sell any sites at a price below the current market value, but not otherwise.
