§ Mr. Brooksasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will raise at the United Nations the question of the detention and trials of Namibian citizens under the South African Terrorism Act, 1967.
§ Mr. FoleyWe have often stated our views at the United Nations on the Terrorism Act and its extension to South West Africa. We have, moreover, voted for Security Council resolutions condemning such trials. We are prepared to repeat these views if the question of the detention and trials of South West Africans is again raised.
