§ Mr. Roseasked the Minister of Transport how much was spent per head of population on roads in the years 1966, 1967 and 1968 in the North-West and Scottish regions, respectively.
Mr. Bob BrownExpenditure per head in the North-West Region was £5.7 in 1966 and is provisionally estimated at £6.7 in 1967.
I understand from my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland that expenditure per head of population was estimated at £9.0 in 1966 and £11.0 in 1967.
Figures for 1968 will not be available until later this year.
