HC Deb 21 February 1969 vol 778 cc174-5W
Mr. Biffen

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what is the estimated percentage rise in rates, earnings and productivity arising from the proposed pay and productivity deal for 6,000 workers employed by Rootes at Coventry.

Mr. Harold Walker

I understand that negotiations are still taking place between Rootes Motors Ltd. and the trade unions concerned to conclude a productivity agreement at the Company's Coventry plant, but my Department has not yet been notified of the terms of any agreement.
