HC Deb 21 February 1969 vol 778 cc183-5W
Mr. Gregory

asked the Minister of Housing end Local Government (1) what consideration he has given to proposals for the development of new road layout

1965–66, 1966–67, 1967–68, and 1968–69; and whether he will give an estimate of the equivalent figure for the year 1969–70; and if he will publish details of these payments in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Mr. Skeffington

The details of the grants to the London Borough of Greenwich for the years 1965–66, 1966–67 and 1967–68, together with the latest estimates of rate support grants for 1968–69 and 1969–70, are as shown below. The amounts of the other grants for 1968–69 and 1969–70 are not yet known. Comparable figures for 1963–64 and 1964–65 for the areas now comprising the London Borough of Greenwich are not available; much of the total grant was then payable to the London County Council.

Following are the figures:

and for the proposed erection of storage buildings and a petrol filling station at Blackbrook Farm, Wellington Road North, Stockport, details of which have been sent to him by the hon. Member for Stockporth, North; and what conclusion he has reached;

(2) what action he has taken for amending the town map of Stockport, particularly regarding the proposals for a new road layout at Blackbrook Farm, Wellington Road North, Stockport; what consultations he has had with the county borough of Stockport on these proposed revisions; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. K. Robinson

None, nor have there been consultations. Stockport County Borough Council have given planning permission for a store and a petrol filling station at Blackbrook Farm. No amendment to the town map has been needed and there are no formal proposals yet for a road improvement at this point.
