asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what new assurances have been given to the Malaysian Government about British commitments in South-East Asia after 1971; and whether he will make a statement.

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will give details of the assurances he has now given on the British defence of Malaysia after 1971.
