§ Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Transport whether he will provide a pedestrian crossing on the A12 trunk road at Rants Score, in view of the large numbers who need to cross the road and the absence of crossing points.
§ Mr. MarshThe need for a pedestrian crossing here is under consideration by Lowestoft Borough Council. I understand that it wishes to take a count of pedestrians and vehicles at an appropriate time and in the light of this will decide whether to make application for a crossing. I can assure the hon. Member that any request from the Council will receive immediate attention by my divisional road engineer.
