Mr. Beaney

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity who are the members of the Central Consultancy Service of the Manpower and Productivity Service; and who are the Service's 90 manpower advisers.

Mr. Harold Walker

The 14 manpower and productivity consultants whose names are given below are currently in the Central Consultancy Service. They have been recruited from management and the trade unions because of their experience in a wide range of subjects, including general management, manpower planning, industrial engineering, work study, and wages and salary systems. The Central Consultancy Service undertakes projects at the national level and is also available to supplement the work of 78 manpower advisers located in the regions.

Between June, 1966 and June, 1967, the industrial classifications of many establishments were corrected. The estimates for June. 1966 are shown (a) excluding and (b) including the effects of reclassifications
