HC Deb 12 February 1969 vol 777 c307W
50. Mr. Boston

asked the President of the Board of Trade what was the cost to public finds of the measures taken by his Department and other public authorities in association with his Department, including the Medway Conservancy Board and the Port of London Authority, in investigating and frustrating a plan by students from a northern university or universities to interfere with the wreck of the s.s. "Richard Montgomery" as part of rag week activities; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. William Rodgers

Although these are not chargeable to public funds, the Medway Conservancy Board incurred costs of approximately £180.
