asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will give details of the numbers of the Metropolitan Police who will be assigned to duty in Caernarvonshire on the occasion of the investiture of the Prince of Wales; and what will be the cost to public funds;

(2) if he will call for a report from the chief constables of Liverpool and Lancashire on the additional police they have been asked to provide for duty on the occasion of the investiture of the Prince of Wales, including an estimate of the number of men required and of the cost.
