asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much of the estimated yield of £44 million from Capital Gains Tax for the financial year 1968–69 is expected to be collected from the corporate sector, and how much from the personal sector.

The £44 million is the estimated yield from persons other than companies. Capital gains of companies are chargeable to Corporation Tax and not to Capital Gains Tax.
