HC Deb 03 February 1969 vol 777 c43W
Mr. James Davidson

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why members of the National Liberation Front and North Vietnamese delegations to the Paris talks on peace in Vietnam are banned from entry to the United Kingdom.

Mr. Callaghan

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave on 19th December to a Question by the hon. Member for Orpington (Mr. Lubbock). There is no general ban and, in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, I am currently considering such an application.—[Vol. 775. c.442–3.]
