HC Deb 03 February 1969 vol 777 c5W
66. Mr. Gresham Cooke

asked the Minister of Transport to what extent the need for financial approval by his Department is holding up the construction of the railway line between Heathrow and Victoria, authorised in the British Railways Act 1967, in view of the need for the railway to match the arrival of jumbo jets and to ease the congestion on the M4 to and from the Airport.

67. Mr. Dodds-Parker

asked the Minis-of Transport when he expects to give his decision about a rail link between Heathrow and Victoria via Feltham.

Mr. Carmichael

No scheme has yet been put to us for approval and there is no question of finance having been withheld.
