§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government propose to make any grant to the National Co-ordinating Committee for the 25th anniversary of the United Nations.
§ Mr. LuardHer Majesty's Government have decided, subject to Parliamentary authority, to make available up to £20,000 to the Committee.
Parliament will be asked to approve the necessary supplementary estimate in due course for requirements in the current financial year. In the meantime advances will be sought as necessary from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
