§ Dame Joan Vickersasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, in view of the fact that that the issue of rum to the Royal Navy is to cease on 1st August, 1970, what consultations have taken place with countries in the West Indies which supply the rum; and whether any arrangements are being made to compensate them for the loss of revenue.
