§ Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what encouragement he is giving university student unions to make arrangements to amalgamate with student unions in adjacent colleges in the non-autonomous sector of higher education.
§ Mr. FowlerI welcome and encourage any practicable developments which bring students from neighbouring higher education institutions closer together. There sometimes are financial obstacles to joint students' unions which my right hon. Friend and I are now studying.
