§ 50. Mr. Peter M. Jacksonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will amend the regulations governing the payment of student grants to divorced women in such a manner that income received by way of alimony, up to a certain level, is discounted in the assessment of grants.
§ Mr. FowlerSome concessions were made for divorced women, as for widows and separated wives, in the amendments to the Regulations in 1968. My right hon. Friend cannot add to these at present.
