asked the Secretary of State for Scotland in how many primary schools in Scotland is Gaelic taught or is teaching conducted in Gaelic.

Mr. Ross

In session 1968–69 Gaelic was taught in 154 primary schools in Scotland. In some of these schools teaching in other subjects was also conducted in Gaelic.
