§ 62. Mr. Evelyn Kingasked the Secretary of State for Defence what alterations he plans in the size of the staff, scientific and other, at the Admiralty Underwater Weapons Establishment at Portland; and if he will make a statement.
§ Dr. David OwenHer Majesty's Government's intention to reduce the staffs of Research and Development Establishments was announced in the supplementary Defence White Paper issued in July, 1968. The Admiralty Underwater Weapons Establishment will take an appropriate share of the reduction.
