HC Deb 02 December 1969 vol 792 c229W
5. Mr. Dalyell

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what changes he has already made in the structure of the Treasury, as a result of the Fulton Committee's recommendatinos.

Mr. Roy Jenkins

In June, 1968, the Treasury set up a Finance (Planning) Division. Its task is to examine in depth emergent and long-term problems in the field of international or domestic finance. This was in fact arranged before Fulton reported, but is closely in line with a major recommendation of the report for the internal organisation of a Department.
