HC Deb 02 December 1969 vol 792 c271W
Mr. Wright

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the present shortage of teachers of mathematics and science in each Scottish county; and how these figures compare with each year since 1963.

Mr. Ross

More reliable methods of estimating shortages and surpluses of teachers are at present being worked out. Until they are ready I cannot give the hon. Member accurate and detailed information.
