asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the total amount of expenditure transferred from the Civil List to the Consolidated Fund in the period between 1952 and 1968.

Expenditure on services transferred from the Civil List to Consolidated Fund since 1952 has amounted to a total of approximately £1 million over the whole period from 1952–53 to 1968–69.
