§ Mr. CallaghanYes. Since I addressed the House on Tuesday, 22nd April, the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland has stated that his Government are determined to secure acceptance of the principle of universal adult suffrage in local government elections. I am sure the House will welcome the Northern Ireland Government's decision.
