§ Mr. Edward ShortThe following table gives the total number of nursery schools in January in the years concerned. Figures for January, 1969 are not yet available; but since the beginning of this year 21 new nursery schools and 139 nursery classes have been approved in the first phase of the Urban Programme. These will provide accommodation for 5,250 full-time pupils.
