Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Attorney-General when the police first commenced their inquiries into the practice known as cube-cutting; why their report has not yet been submitted; and when action will be taken.

The Attorney-General

Police inquiries began on 12th February. Persons who may be able to assist the investigation are still being interviewed and there are numerous documents to be examined. The question of taking action cannot be considered until the investigation is completed. When this will be will depend upon the progress of the inquiries.
