HC Deb 14 April 1969 vol 781 c197W
Mr. Lubbock

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services why the rate of staffed beds to trained nurses is 3.87 at Orpington Hospital compared with 2.76 at Queen Mary's Hospital, which is in the same group.

Mr. Crossman

Mainly because the proportion of acute cases is much higher at Queen Mary's Hospital.
