§ Mr. Lomasasked the Minister of Transport if he will consult the local education authority before proceeding with the construction of the proposed 276W inner ring road in Huddersfield in so far as the road affects the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Primary School; and if he will ensure that this section of the road will not be built until a replacement for the school has been provided.
Mr. Bob BrownHuddersfield County Borough Council are both the local education authority and highway authority for the proposed inner ring road. It is therefore for them to ensure that the roadworks are not begun too soon.
