§ Mr. Pavittasked the Minister of Health what estimate he has made of the total cost of the expenses and other remuneration paid to those serving on regional hospital boards, hospital management committees, board of governors, local executive councils and their constituent committees and members of the local health authorities.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonNo remuneration is paid to members of these bodies. Payments of travelling and subsistence expenses, and for loss of earnings, amounted to £152,000 in 1967–68 in England and Wales, excluding payments to members of local health authorities, for whom no information is available centrally.
