§ Mr. Elystan MorganMy right hon. Friend has today laid before Parliament an Order to bring into operation Part II of the Children and Young Persons Act, 1963, and the Children (Performances) Regulations, 1968. The Act and the Regulations will provide comprehensive safeguards for children who take part in performances of all kinds, including, for the first time, protection for children appearing in television advertisements.
