§ The Prime Minister£600,475. The percentage change is 78 per cent. of which as I explained in my Answer to a similar Question by the hon. Member on the 24th of October, at least 60 per cent is accounted for by the increases in Ministerial salaries implemented on the36W 1st of April, 1965, following—though in the case of Ministers, halving—the recommendations of the Committee on the Remuneration of Ministers and Members of Parliament.—[Vol. 770, c. 365.]
