§ Mr. M. StewartHer Majesty's Government are continuing to give their whole-hearted support to Dr. Gunnar Jarring in his efforts to promote a settlement in the Middle East on the basis of the Security Council Resolution of the 22nd of November, 1967. The necessity of guaranteeing freedom of navigation through international waterways was, of course, one of the provisions of the Resolution.
