HC Deb 14 May 1968 vol 764 cc236-7W
Mr. Dean

asked the Prime Minister what are the criteria for determining the Queen's Award for Industry; and whether different criteria apply in the case of firms which have already received one or more awards.

The Prime Minister

The criteria are set out in the Report of The Duke of Edinburgh's Committee published in 1965. In the case of a holder of an Award for export achievement, further Awards are made for further outstanding achievement in the period after that covered by the previous successful application. In the case of holders of Awards for technological innovation, further Awards are made only for separate and distinct technological innovations.
